Sightpath’s access cataract and YAG division is dedicated to supplying surgeons and facilities with the most advanced surgical equipment and the most highly trained technicians.

Working with Sightpath Medical allows flexibility of choice. Contracts are created on a case by case basis, keeping in mind each facility’s specific needs, reimbursement guidelines, anticipated surgical volume, location, and physician preferences. Whether it be as simple as setting up a single piece of equipment at the facility once a month (“rent a phaco”), or as complex as supplying complete, prepackaged surgical programs for multiple operating rooms, Sightpath Medical is fully equipped to meet the ever-changing needs of any facility.

Mobile Service

Equipment, instruments, surgical supplies and Intraocular lenses (IOLs) are delivered to the facility by a NBSTSA certified surgical technician. The technician will remain on site and can either scrub and assist or be utilized by the medical staff to assist in other ways. YAG technicians also stay on site and can be utilized to assist with patient flow.

Fixed Site Service

In instances where procedure volume is high enough to warrant fixed service, Sightpath will provide equipment, instruments and a consignment of Intraocular lenses (IOLs) to remain at the facility. Your Sightpath Medical NBSTSA certified surgical technician will remain on site and can either scrub and assist or be utilized by the medical staff to assist in other ways.
