Bonding on the road

There’s an old saying about the back nine handshake closing new deals. But not all business off-site takes place on the golf course. As those of us who travel for business purposes know, one of the biggest advantages to being on the road with members of your team and your customers is the downtime you get to spend together. Whether breaking bread, golfing or climbing a mountain, as the case may be, enjoying each others’ company out of context helps to establish a stronger partnership when business returns to usual.

Case in point, Joel Gaslin, Sightpath Vice President of Sales and Marketing, was joined on a friendly hike in Kauai during Hawaiian Eye 2014 by Dr. Dave West and their wives. Whether they simply enjoyed each others’ company or cooked up some new strategies for success, no doubt the time spent together was well worth it!
