SPM Clinical Services is gearing up for the MoFe rollout!

Jason Andersen, Sr. Technician; Stephanie Mitchell, Clinical Services Manager and Jason Primeaux, CAS (Clinical Application Specialist), successfully completed the LenSx Clinical Application training course in February at the LenSx facility in Aliso Viejo, CA.
The team will put their new knowledge to work proctoring and certifying Sightpath’s surgeon customers for cataract procedures performed on the LenSx femtosecond laser, part of the Sightpath MoFe suite. Congratulations Jason, Jason and Stephanie!
A research team composed of scientists from the Philippines, United Kingdom, and the United States found that – compared to manual clear corneal incisions (CCI) – femtosecond laser-constructed incisions achieve better wound sealability, a quality that may reduce the risk of surgical complications.
